Plane to Paradise

My mom was turning 60 and instead of having a big bash to celebrate she opted for a Hawaiian vacation with the whole family. No complaints from us on her decision! We were all looking forward to some good times with each other. Daniel couldn't remember the last time he was on an airplane and was eager to travel.

Daniel did great on the plane. He enjoyed watching the in-flight map and tracking how much further we had to fly until we reached Oahu.

Kendall did pretty well on the plane, I have to admit I was nervous about her being too noisy. We had made sure to pack lots of snacks for her. Kendall eating = Kendall happy.

We stayed at a house located at Sunset Beach on the North Shore. As soon as we walked to the backyard and took a look at the view, we knew we landed a primo location!

It may not be the classiest of outdoor showers, but taking warm showers in the sun was heavenly. We've always wanted an outdoor shower at home and this one has just increased our desire for one.
