Halloween 2011

It has been all about Halloween in the Switzer household for the past month. Daniel was super into all things Halloween- spiders, pumpkins, ghosts, haunted houses, graveyards and firemen (his costume).

Val made the cutest sushi costumes for Kendall and Jack.

Spicy tuna roll with wasabi and ginger, anyone?

Daniel was a fireman.

Love the red suspenders!

We visited the CS Department at UCSB for some trick-or-treating with Grandpa.

We ran into the Damron's when we were trick-or-treating. Caleb was a fireman too!

Kendall was happy to see her buddy Owen.

Pumpkin Carving

Weekend Wedding

We headed up north for my cousin Nick's wedding to the beautiful Kathryn. We had a successful road trip with the kids and a blast spending time with family. Daniel had been looking forward to this weekend for a long time- especially getting to stay in a hotel. (His favorite part!)

Patiently waiting to take photos.

Cousins.
This would make a great x-mas photo if only baby Jack were in it.

The happy couple.
The music turned up. The tie came off. Daniel tearing up the dance floor.

Daniel and his Auntie Mel (a.k.a. "My favorite!")

My cutie.

I love this photo of Brian and the kids. Check out Kendall's legs!

Mel and Dad showing off their stuff on the dance floor.

I think they enjoyed themselves.
My favorite part of this photo is everyone in the background.

Tai Tai and the great grandbabies.

Sleepy Kendall with her "Gruncle" Allan.

My sister and the 3 B's- a baby, a bjorn, and a beer.

Party pooper.

Next bride?

Now this should be the x-mas photo!

Daily Kendall

Our little ladybug trying out her Halloween costume.

PEP at the Patch

We got together with our PEP group for our annual meet-up at the pumpkin patch. It seems it has been more and more difficult to get everyone from the group together what with nap schedules, pre-school, and new siblings. Daniel was stoked to take his third hayride of the season.
The PEP kids.

And then there were two. Daniel with Natalie.

Mommies and siblings with the PEP kids.
Hooray for hayride number three!!

MOPS at Lane Farms

We met our MOPS friends at IHOP for pancakes and then headed back to Lane Farms. I am so thankful for the MOPS ladies and their sweet kids.

Daniel proudly sports his pumpkin beanie atop the tractor.

I love this photo of Daniel taken by my friend Chrystal.

Lane Farms

Before the Dachenhaus crew left for home, we took our first trip of the season to Lane Farms. We visited the farm animals, took photos, played in the hay, rode the tractor, and picked out pumpkins. I just love Fall!
