Lake Casitas Camping Trip

We joined the Damron's and Boggs' for our first official family camping trip at Lake Casitas. Everyone had a fun time and we can't wait to go on our next camping adventure.

The first morning, Brian taught the kids how to make a trap to catch squirrels. It was successful!

Lake Casitas has a water park that was the perfect size for our kids. Kendall fell asleep on me while we were floating in an down the lazy river in an inner tube.

Ten Years

Brian and I celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary with a trip to the El Capitan Canyon. We had a great night away biking through the canyon, sitting by the fire and enjoying the gift of being able to start and finish conversations.

Ten years, one smelly dog, one large mortgage, two spunky kids and the minivan I swore I would never drive...I wouldn't change a thing!

Summer so far

We have had a great summer so far: riding bikes, beach days, going to the pool, taking Charley for ocean swims, visiting Tai Tai in Laguna and spending time with friends.

Fourth of July

The kids and I spent the first part of the 4th of July holiday at my parents' annual block party while Brian was at work. While Kendall was napping, Daniel had tons of fun biking, having water balloon fights, and jumping on trampolines with the pre-teen neighbor girls. That evening we had a barbeque and s'mores at the Damron's house. Happy Fourth!
