Baywatch Boy
Lately, Daniel has been obsessed with lifeguards. He thinks lifeguards are the coolest and wants to be one when he grows up. Daniel will be sure to point out that he wants to be a beach lifeguard, not a pool lifeguard. The other night the kids and I brought dinner to Brian at work and Daniel got to meet the lifeguards. He was on cloud nine!

Val's second 30th
Since Val was pregnant for her 30th birthday last June, she invited friends to a fun birthday party for her 31st. I left both kids with my parents for the first time and flew up to San Francisco for the weekend to celebrate. Everyone met up for bagels and mimosas and then we took a limo bus into Sonoma for wine tasting. That evening, we had a pizza making contest. As fun as the day was, the highlight of the weekend for me was spending one on one time with baby Jack. Daniel and Kendall are always with me when I see Jack so it was awesome to get to play with him and cuddle him and have him all to myself!

Bicycle built for two
Kendall went on her first bike ride- she loved it! I could feel her little hands grasping my t-shirt while she hummed and sang during the ride.

I Jump, You Jump
Some of our favorite times together as a family is watching the kids mess around and play with each other. Daniel was showing off his jumping skills and Kendall was trying her best to imitate him. She might need to master walking before she tries jumping!

Swim class for Kendall

| The UCSB swim coach lives on the cul-de-sac next to ours and his family offers swim lessons during the summer. We decided to walk on over and drop in for the baby class. |

| Daniel was pretty bored hanging out and watching Kendall's class. Usually Kendall is carted around to all of Daniel's activities and this time the shoe was on the other foot! |
