Touch a Truck

PEP hosted a "Touch a Truck" fundraiser in our neighborhood that was a little boys' fantasy land. There were buses, an ambulance, a police car, backhoes, a trolley, a trash truck, and big rigs for the kids to sit on.

Train Depot Day

Today we headed out with the Damron family to the Goleta Train Depot for their annual Depot Day celebration. The boys had a great time riding the trains together. Many thanks to Garrett for accompanying the boys on the trains while Amy and I stayed with the little ones. I think one of Daniel's favorite parts of the day was his "prize" he chose. Was it a train whistle? A cool sticker? Nope. It was an old train collectors catalogue from 1984 and the little dude has spent a long time poring over the contents of this ancient magazine. That's my boy!

Meeting Peter

Today I got to meet little Peter Gupta. He is so precious. The whole time I was holding him I kept thinking how I couldn't believe that Kendall was this small just four months ago. They really do grow so fast.

It should be noted that mere minutes after this photo was taken Kendall had a big ol' poopy blowout that leaked all over Brian's new white shirt!

Outdoor Bath

Today was HOT. Luckily, we got an invite to swim at the Anderson's pool. They have the coolest backyard shower set up along with a vast selection of shampoos. 

Rub a dub dub, two buddies in a tub.  I should also mention that Kendall took a dip in the pool for her first swim. She loved it and kept excitedly kicking her legs. Of course, in true neglect-your-second-child fashion, we forgot to take photos to commemorate the event.

Pizza Night with Team Claydon

Team Claydon (now 6 strong!) was in town so they came over for pizza and playtime.

Immanuel and Kendall met for the first time.

These cuties were born just a week apart.

The rest of the rugrats watched "Cars" while they ate pizza. Daniel was so sad that the kids weren't going to spend the night.
