Hawaii Vacation

Since we had such a fun family vacation in Hawaii last spring, we decided to head over there again. The bonus was that Kendall and Jack were not yet two years old which meant that we could fly with them qualifying as "lap babies." We stayed at the same house at Sunset Beach on the North Shore. We enjoyed beach days, extended family, and all our favorite food- malasadas, fresh ahi bowls, kalua pig with poi, spam musubi, shave ice, and more!

Watching the planes in the airport.

First sunset of vacation.

Grandma helped Daniel make a sand volcano.

These two had so much being rascals together.

Family dinner at Haleiwa Joe's.
Cocktail time!

Sharing shave ice.

Homemade fishing pole.

January Joy

In January we enjoyed...

Playdates for Kendall with Oscar.

Chasing the waves in our underwear.
Puddle splashing.

The view from a morning stroll on the pier.

Sticky lollipops at Mama's eye doctor appointment.

Choosing pastries with friends at Anna's Bakery.

Before bedtime wrestling matches.

Playing in the sandbox.
Building teepees with Grandpa.
Exploring at Campus Point.

Soaking in the sun in our bikinis.

Princess dress-up!

Searching for monarch butterflies.

Being out in nature.
Farmers Market dates with Grandma.
We had a fun January despite a bout with the nasty stomach flu virus that made its way around town. There is nothing worse than sick kids. Fortunately, we are all healthy again and ready to play!
