Storm Watch

We finally had a storm! It filled up the creek by our house and a powerful surge destroyed much of Goleta Beach washing up sailboats and resulting in both the pier and The Beachside closing for repairs.

What we were up to in February- Chinese New Year 2014 (Year of the Horse); tidepooling at Devereaux; the kids and I went to Danville to visit the Dachenhaus family; Daniel bike riding off-road; celebrating Amy's birthday.

Highlights from January.

First day of preschool

Kendall started preschool at Goleta Valley Nursery School. She had a great day and even got to enjoy a special treat for one of her new classmate's birthday.

New Years

We rang in the new year at the Damron's with a fondue party in pajamas and an early countdown to midnight.

We hosted our Ugly Sweater Christmas party and had a fun time with friends.
